CBSE Board Exam 2023:
CBSE ie Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct class 10th and class 12th board examinations for 2023 batch from February 15 to 2023.
The board has announced this while announcing the results of this year’s batch. Unlike 2022, there will be only one board exam next year, apart from a few other changes as compared to this exam.

Only 1 Board Exam:
In 2022, CBSE conducted two term board exams for both Class 10 and Class 12 students. For calculating the results, the board has considered 30% weightage to theory paper from term 1 and 70% to term 2, while equal weightage was given to practical examinations.

However, this arrangement will not continue next year, as the board has announced that there will be only one exam in 2023, as was the case in previous years.

30% Syllabus Reduction:
Apart from conducting only 1 exam, CBSE has also reduced the syllabus for class 9 to 12 students by about 30%. Syllabus for next year’s board exams can be checked at cbseacademic.nic.in.
Sample Papers, Marking Scheme:
Students who will appear in the board exam of 2023 can visit the website cbseacademic.nic.in and download the study material like sample question paper, marking scheme, question bank etc.
It will be published in due course. By preparing the sample paper students will get a good idea about the pattern and type of questions asked in the board exam.
