CISCE Result for Semester 1:  

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will release the results of ICSE Class 10th and ISC Class 12th examinations of Semester 1 soon on 

Though the overall result will not be declared, CISCE will release the mark sheet showing the marks obtained by the students in all the subjects and the papers taken by them.

While schools can check the results of their students on the council’s career portal using the principal’s ID and password, students can check their class 10 ICSE and class 12 ISC results on the official websites –, can download and ,

Earlier announcing the ICSE, ISC exam format, CISCE said, ‘A computer generated mark sheet will be issued to the candidates appearing for the exam. 

This marksheet will only indicate the marks obtained by the candidates in each subject or paper taken by them for the Semester 1 examination.’

CISCE which conducted the examination in two posts for the 2021-22 academic session at the end of each semester, the first semester was conducted as an MCQ-based examination and was conducted in online mode.

The question papers of Semester 1 exam were for 80/100 marks for ICSE and 70/80 marks for ISC. 

However, a CISCE statement said that after the end of Semester 2 the weightage of marks (for each semester) to be finally used for calculation of CISCE board exam results will be halved.

Apart from the examinations held at the end of every two semesters during the academic year 2021-22, candidates will also be assessed on practical and project work at the ISC level. 

CISCE had declared the ICSE class 10th and ISC class 12th results on July 24 last year.

Last year the overall pass percentage stood at 99.98 percent for ICSE results and 99.76 percent for ISC results. 

CISCE had canceled both class 10th and 12th exams due to COVID-19 and students were assessed on the basis of alternative evaluation criteria.
