CTET July 2022 Notification, Application Form, Exam Date : 

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is planning to release notification for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) soon on the official website. 

Candidates Who Want to Teach Class I to Class VIII Can Download Notification PDF and Check Eligibility Criteria, Age Limit & How to Apply from the link given below? Can check it. 

Interested applicants can apply for their CTET online at the official website. Candidates can fill the application form through online mode before the last date.

Primary Stage (Classes 1 to 5): 

Candidates should have passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Diploma in Elementary Education or Senior Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 45% marks and should have appearing in Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE.

Preliminary Stage (Class 6 to 8) : 

Candidates should be Graduate in any discipline and passed or appearing in final year of Diploma in Elementary Education or Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed. Must have passed the programme.

  1. Notification for CTET 2022 is likely to come in April this year.
  2. Notification for online registration is yet to come. 
  3. Application form filling and exam date is also not announced.

CTET 2022 selection process. Exam Pattern

  • Duration of Exam: 2 hours 30 minutes for each paper
  • Question Types: Objective Type
  • Language: Hindi and English
  • Marking: 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer
  • Negative Marking: Not Applicable

Candidates should have completed Senior Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Diploma in Elementary Education. 

A candidate must be 17 years of age to apply for the exam. 

Candidates must note that there is no upper age limit for this exam.
