In view of the increasing cases of Kovid-19, the Education Department of Delhi has issued an advisory for all private schools in the capital. 

The Delhi government has said in its advisory that if any case of corona infection comes to the fore in the school, then the officials will immediately inform the Directorate of Education and its related department. 

Along with this, the school will have to be closed for a few days.  

In the advisory issued by the Education Department,

It has been said that it has been seen through the media and other sources that the cases of corona infection have started increasing again in NCR. 

Apart from this, an increase in the positivity rate has also been found in the last few days. In such a situation, all private schools are advised to take precautionary measures to prevent the spread of infection. 

As per the advisory issued by the Directorate, the schools have been told that-

  • Schools should ensure that students, teachers and staff come wearing masks.
  • Social distancing should be followed as much as possible in the school.
  • People in school wash their hands regularly and use sanitizers.
  • Students should be made aware about preventing the spread of corona infection.

If necessary, close the school

if any case of infection comes to the fore in the school, then the school will immediately inform the Directorate of Education and its related department about it. If necessary, the school can also be closed for a few days.

Earlier, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that in view of the slight increase in the cases of Kovid-19, the Delhi government will soon issue guidelines related to this for schools. Sisodia told reporters, ‘There has been a slight increase in the cases of Kovid-19. 

But the number of patients admitted to the hospital has not increased, so there is no need to panic, but be alert. Sisodia said, ‘We have to learn to live with Kovid-19. We are continuously monitoring the situation.
