DU PG Merit List 2021: The third merit list was to be released by Delhi University on 3rd December but now for PG admissions this list is planned to be released on 7th December.
DU 3rd Merit List for PG Admissions 2021:
The third merit list for post graduate admissions in Delhi University was to be released on December 3, but it could not happen. The Delhi University Administration has decided that now the 3rd Merit List for Post Graduation Courses will be released on 7th December.
On the basis of the second merit list, applications can be made for admission till Saturday, December 4.
According to the University of Delhi, students can apply online for admission to various courses by December 8 and 9 on the basis of the merit list to be released on December 7.
According to the university, an average of 9 students have applied for each seat in Delhi University PG course this year.
Delhi University has about 20,000 seats in various postgraduate programs, but about 1.80 lakh students have applied for these courses.
Second merit list was released on 26 November:
The second merit list for PG admission was released by Delhi University on 26 November. Based on the second merit list, the admission process was started from November 27 to November 30.
After this, the third merit list for PG admission was to be released on December 3. However, this list will be released on December 7.
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has also declared the result of entrance exam conducted for PG courses like MA, MSc and MCA etc.
Thousands of students from different states from across the country had applied and appeared for entrance examinations to take admission in these PG courses of JNU.

JNU is now selecting the successful candidates on the basis of marks scored in the entrance examination of MA, MSc and MCA.
The university has released the list of such successful students for admission. Students can check this list on the website through their roll number.
In Delhi University, where about 1.80 lakh students had applied for PG, about 28,827 registrations have been done for MPhil and PhD.
The entrance exam for the registered students was held on 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 September and 1 October.
In an important decision, UGC has provided a big relief to MPhil and PhD students. The UGC has extended the last date for submission of thesis by six months to MPhil and PhD students.
According to this instruction issued by the UGC, students pursuing MPhil and PhD can now submit their thesis by June 30 next year. Earlier this thesis was to be submitted by December 31 this year.
