The schedule of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2022) is to be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It will be available on the official website of NTA.
It is believed that this year’s program may get disrupted due to state elections and Kovid. However, official information will be given by NTA.
In such a situation, the candidates who want to appear in this exam must be aware of the exam pattern, syllabus and eligibility etc.
JEE Main exam is conducted for admission to National Institute of Technology (NIT), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), other government funded institutes and several state colleges.
Information related to the 2022 exam dates and registration process from NTA will be available at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Eligibility for JEE Main
- In order to be a part of JEE Main, candidates need to fulfill the required criteria. For this candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent examination.
- Candidates who wish to enroll for BTech, BE programs must have taken Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or Biology, Biotechnology, or Technical Vocational subjects in class 12th.
- Those who want to take admission in BArch programs must have Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
These will be the exam pattern
NTA JEE Main syllabus consists of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (Organic and Inorganic) at class 11 and 12 level. Around 25 questions are asked from each subject.
That is, the total number of questions is 75. Students can get a better score by checking previous year question papers and appearing in mock tests.
