JEE Main Tips: JEE Main 2022 notification is expected to be released soon by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to graduate programs and JEE Advanced in IIITs, NITs, other central technical institutes.

JEE Main 2022 Preparation Tips:  

With the help of JEE Main exam notification, one gets admission for graduation in NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded technical institutes. Last year due to covid, NTA conducted the exam in four phases. 

However, the best performance of the candidate out of the four sessions was considered while preparing the final merit list for JEE Main. 

For the upcoming phase, NTA has not yet given the attempt but there is talk of making them 4 to 2.

Many students take drop every year due to lack of preparation, not getting the right college, health related problem or wrong exam strategy. 

The reasons for taking the drop may be anything, but the end goal remains the same i.e. to crack JEE Main successfully with a good rank. 

Taking drop for one year is the decision of the students who aspire to improve their performance in their next attempt.

Work on your weaknesses: 

You know your weaknesses so focus on strengthening them. Work on not repeating anything that you did earlier that made you perform poorly. Keep a positive attitude and don’t let your mind think about what will happen if you fail. Trust the process followed by you in your preparation.

Take Mock Tests and Approach the Exam Correctly: 

After completing few topics take a mock test or solve previous years question which will help you to analyze the progress in your preparation. 

The candidate must evaluate the test result to understand where he is lagging.

This will help in achieving perfection in weak subjects. Mock test also helps in improving one’s speed and accuracy. Students also get acquainted with the exam pattern and type of questions asked through mock tests.

Join Short Duration Crash Courses/Test Series:  

If you had done self-study earlier or enrolled in correspondence courses, you can join Crash Courses with a reputed All India Test Series to check your National Level Ranking can enroll.

The tests help you to know your current ranking at the national level so that you can overcome the shortcomings in your preparation. 

In addition, you must attend a test analysis session after each test.

Some brief tips for JEE exam day:

Take 6 to 7 hours of sleep at night before the exam. Reach the exam venue on time. Don’t forget to carry your admit card on the day of the exam.

Do not discuss anything with friends outside the examination centre. Do not forget to read all the instructions given on the question paper carefully.

Start with the topic in the order of your comfort level to maximize the number of questions attempted. Not more than 45 minutes on each topic.

Use the last 45 minutes to solve the remaining questions in the second attempt and for revision. Answer with guesses the questions that do not carry negative marks.
