A total of 326 candidates were declared successful in the Civil Services Examination (CSE) conducted by JPSC. The division bench, after a lengthy hearing on the appeal, found no discrepancy in the order of the single bench and upheld the declaration of the result of the sixth CSE conducted by JPSC as invalid.

The exam was conducted in 2016 and the result was released in April 2020. There were allegations that the marks of two qualifying papers were added to the total marks, which is wrong.
