NEET PG Counseling 2021: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has extended the deadline for choice filling for the second round of NEET PG counseling 2021. In this case, the registered candidates will get additional time.
NEET PG Counseling 2021:
Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has extended the deadline for the choice filling process for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2021 Counseling Round 2. In such a situation, candidates can do choice filling till February 15, 2022.
Candidates who have registered themselves for this round can check the notification on the official website- mcc.nic.in.
Apart from this, MCC has also issued a notice for all the State Counseling Officers. In which they have been asked to revise their counseling schedule.
This year the counseling process will be conducted in four rounds under the 50% All India Quota. It consists of AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop-up Round and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round. Earlier MCC has conducted NEET counseling in two rounds till the year 2020.
Regarding Choice Filling, MCC issued a statement saying, “As per the directions of Hon’ble Delhi High Court in the case of Dr. Vishal Dahiya and others, Choice Filling for Round-2 of PG Counseling 2021 will be held on 15.02.2022 (Tuesday) at 04 PM on 15.02.
Extended till 0:00. The choice locking process will start from 6 PM on 14th February and will be available till 4 PM on 15th February.

- Click on the link ‘NEET PG 2021 Counselling’ on the homepage.
- Enter your login details and click submit.
- On the next window, fill the choices of subjects and institutes in the order of preference.
- Lock the options and submit.

The result of round 1 counseling was declared in January
MCC has recently revised the round 2 schedule of NEET PG counseling 2021. The registration process which started from 4th February was earlier scheduled to start from 3rd February, 2022.
The committee had allowed candidates to resign from the seats allotted in the first round till February 3 this year. Earlier on January 28, MCC had extended the deadline to report to colleges against NEET PG counseling round 1.
The candidates were allowed to report at their institutions till January 30, 2022.
NEET PG counseling round 1 seat allotment result was declared on January 22 this year.
