NEET PG Exam 2022 date:

The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the new date for NEET-PG Exam 2022. Under this, the examination will now be conducted on May 21.

This information was given on Friday. Earlier the exam was to be held on March 12, but the exam date has been rescheduled.

A notice has also been issued in this regard. Under which the exam will be conducted from 9 am to 12.30 pm.

According to the notice, the date of application has also been extended due to the announcement of new exam date. Under this, students can apply for NEET-PG exam till March 25.

Earlier the last date to apply was 4th February. Earlier, the central government had asked the National Board of Examinations to push it forward by at least two months.

The Health Ministry on Thursday asked the National Board of Examinations to postpone NEET PG 2022 by six to eight weeks or suitably as it is clashing with NEET PG 2021 counselling.

Supreme Court gave an important decision

A petition filed by six MBBS students was heard by the Supreme Court on February 4. In which the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-PG exam postponed) exam 2022 to be held on March 12 has been asked to be postponed for 6-8 weeks.

During this, the Supreme Court of India also heard the petition regarding the postponement of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) PG Exam 2022 date as well as the extension of the internship deadline.

Internship affected due to Corona

At present, the counseling process of NEET PG 2021 is going on, which will continue till March 16. Meanwhile, medical students were worried about the announcement of NEET PG 2022 exam to be conducted on March 12.

As hundreds of MBBS candidates could not complete their internship due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they would not be eligible to appear in the NEET PG 2022 exam.

In such a situation, the candidates had demanded an extension of the internship time period, so that they get a chance to complete the internship and take the exam.

In this case, six MBBS graduates had filed a petition in the Supreme Court on January 25, seeking the postponement of the examination. Along with this, letters were also written to the ministry.
