NEET UG Counseling 2021-22: MCC has released the notice for the withdrawal of certain MBBS seats in various AIIMS institutes from the second round of NEET counseling. The information is now available on the official website mcc.nic.in. The seats have been withdrawn from the second round of counselling.
NEET UG Counseling 2021-2022:
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET UG Counseling 2021 is on. The Medical Counseling Committee has completed the second round of registration and will release the result for the second round of counseling on February 26, 2022.
Before the result, MCC has released an important notice on the return of seats on the official website mcc.nic.in.
A total of 7 seats in various All India Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS have been withdrawn from the counseling process.
All of them are from unreserved category or general category and include 1 seat in AIIMS New Delhi and 2 seats each in AIIMS, Rishikesh, Jodhpur and Raipur. Institute code and seat quota is also mentioned.

As per the notice, ‘The seat mentioned for refund will be removed from the seat matrix of Round 2 with immediate effect.
The notice further reads that the seat will be deleted from the database before the allotment process of Round 2.
Students Please Note Notice Means These Seats Will Not Be Available Now. In other words, if there are currently 32 open category seats available in AIIMS Raipur against the available seats, these will now be counted as 30.

Students are advised to keep an eye on the official website.
The result of the second round will be released on February 26 and students will have to report at the allotted institutes by March 5, 2022.
A mop-up round will be conducted for All India Quota, Deemed, Central Universities, AIIMS and JIPMER seats from 8 March 2022 to 9 March 2022.
