NEET UG Counseling 2021: The second round of NEET UG counseling is starting from February 9. The last date for joining in the first round is February 4.
NEET UG Counseling 2021:
The second round of NEET UG counseling is starting from February 9. Under this, candidates can apply for a new seat opting for upgradation.
Also candidates with free exit can apply for the seat again in the second round. The second round of process will be conducted under AIQ from February 9-14.
Similarly, the second round for state counseling will be held from February 15-18.
What are the rules for the second round
Students who have rejected the college in Round-1, they will get a chance to do fresh registration in Round-2. And after that there will be MOP UP round and Stray vacancy round. But there will be no fresh registrations for the Stray vacancy round.
Apart from this, this time the vacant seats after the second round will not be returned to the states, but the remaining seats will be filled through the counseling of Mop-up round and Stray vacancy round. Further, the candidates who will join the allotted seat in Round 2 will not be given the option to leave the seat.
Also they will not be able to participate in further counseling rounds. If the candidate does not accept the allotted seat then he/she will get a chance to appear in the subsequent rounds.
Similarly, the chance of seat upgrade and free exit will be given only in the second round.
