NEET UG Counseling 2021: The counseling of NEET UG will start from January 19, 2022. This time the rules of counseling have also changed.
NEET UG Counseling Update: NEET UG counseling is starting from tomorrow.
According to the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) the first round of NEET UG 2021 AIQ counseling will start from January 19 and the counseling for state quota will start from January 27, 2022. After this the process of other rounds will be completed.
This time the process of counseling has also changed. In such a situation, candidates will have to keep complete information about the registration process to counseling, so that there will be no problem at the last moment.

This work has to be done for registration
Once the link for counseling is activated, candidates will be able to register by visiting mcc.nic.in.
Where they have to submit the details of NEET roll number, registration number and name of parents, date of birth etc. After that the fee has to be paid for the registration. After which the counseling process will be started.
What is the rule this time

MCC has released the information regarding the new rule of counseling on 18 December 2021. Accordingly, the counseling process will be completed in four stages.
1. There will be Round-1, Round-2, MOP UP round and Stray vacancy round.
2. Chance to do fresh registration will be available in Round-1, Round-2 and MOP UP round and there will be no fresh registration for Stray vacancy round.
3. This time the vacant seats after two rounds will not be returned to the states, but the remaining seats will be filled through the mop-up round and counseling of stray vacancy round.

4. The candidates who join the allotted seat in Round 2 or subsequent counseling will not be given the option to leave the seat. Also they will not be able to participate in further counseling rounds.
If the candidate does not accept the allotted seat then he/she will get a chance to appear in the subsequent rounds.
5. The chance of seat upgrade and free exit will be given in the first round only. This option will not be available from Round-2.
The process of counseling will be applicable for 15% AIQ seats under UG counselling.
