NEET UG Counseling 2021: The first round of NEET UG counseling is being completed on January 28. This time the process of counseling is being followed in 4 rounds.
NEET UG Counseling First Round:
The first round of NEET UG counseling is ending on January 28. In such a situation, it is likely that the result of seat allotment will be released on January 29.
Under this, allotment will be done for 89,395 MBBS and 27,948 BDS seats. The result of the first round will be released on mcc.nic.in.
Result will be released like this
The result will be released in PDF format. And it will contain the roll number of the candidate, All India Rank and the name of the college found in the allotment and other details.
After this, the candidate will have to inform about the acceptance or rejection of the allotted college. And if there is any query regarding the result then it can also be e-mailed to MCC.
Students who will accept the allotted college will have to inform the college and complete other process including fees.
What will happen after round 1
This will be followed by Round-2, MOP UP round and Stray vacancy round.
Students who will reject the college in Round-1 will get a chance to do fresh registration in Round-2 and MOP UP round. Whereas there will be no fresh registrations for the Stray vacancy round.
This time the vacant seats after two rounds will not be returned to the states, but the remaining seats will be filled through the mop-up round and the counseling of stray vacancy round.
-Candidates who join the allotted seat in Round 2 or subsequent counseling will not be given the option to leave that seat. Also they will not be able to participate in further counseling rounds.
If the candidate does not accept the allotted seat then he/she will get a chance to appear in the subsequent rounds.
The chance for seat upgrade and free exit will be given only in the second round.
