The Chief Minister tweeted that, due to Corona virus, competitive examinations could not be conducted on time for two years, so candidates will be given two years relaxation in upper age limit in the upcoming competitive examinations.

There is big news for the candidates preparing for government jobs. The Rajasthan government has given a big gift to the youth of the state. Recently, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given two years relaxation in the maximum age in the competitive examination.
The Chief Minister tweeted that, due to Corona virus, competitive examinations could not be conducted on time for two years, so candidates will be given two years relaxation in upper age limit in the upcoming competitive examinations.
This is good news for those youths who were preparing for government jobs from last two years, but were sitting disappointed due to their age.
Relaxation in age limit was given to poor upper castes:
Male candidates of EWS (Economically Weaker Section) will get 5 years relaxation in upper age limit and 10 years for female candidates similar to other reserved categories.

Earlier, CM Ashok Gehlot had announced relaxation in the age limit of government jobs for the poor upper castes of the state. It was decided to give relaxation of 5 to 10 years in the maximum age limit. This decision of CM Gehlot had brought great relief to the youth.

Army recruitment could not be done on time due to Kovid. Due to which the age limit of the candidates was crossed. Many organizations active on unemployment were demanding from CM Gehlot to give relaxation in the age limit to compensate for Kovid. Earlier, CM Gehlot himself had written a letter to the central government to give age relaxation to the candidates in the army.

According to his second decision, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has announced to give compassionate appointment again to the eligible families of the victims of Kedarnath tragedy in 2013.
CM Gehlot tweeted about this and said that the announcement of compassionate appointment was made in 2013 to support the families of the residents of Rajasthan who lost their lives in the Kedarnath tragedy of 2013 and were permanently missing.
