What is the matter?

The Supreme Court today heard a petition seeking cancellation of physical classes for class X and XII to be conducted by all state boards, CBSE, ICSE and National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) on February 23, 2022.

The petitioner’s counsel sought an urgent list of the matter, following which the apex court had agreed to hear the matter on Wednesday.

A bench headed by Justice AM Khanwilkar asked the counsel for the petitioner to give a copy of the petition to the CBSE and all the state boards.
