Big news has come for the students of Haryana who are preparing for the UPSC exam. 100 students in Haryana Central University will get a chance to prepare for UPSC exam for free.

Haryana Central University (HCV) will help the promising youth of Scheduled Castes in the preparation of the prestigious Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and other competitive examinations. 

This work is being done in collaboration with the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. Dr. Ambedkar Center of Excellence (DACE) has been started in the university for this purpose.

This agreement has been signed in the presence of Hon’ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel and Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India Dr. Virendra Kumar in a program organized at Banaras Hindu University.

Will get a grant of Rs 75000

In the context of this center going to be started in the university, the Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar informed that in the state of Haryana this center is opening only in Central University of Haryana. 

Through this, every year hundred students will be prepared for the examination of the Union Public Service Commission. The Vice Chancellor said that a grant of Rs 75000 per student will be received under this centre. Through which free coaching will be provided to the contestants.

The Vice Chancellor of the University said that 33 percent women contestants will be included under this center. So that the goals set towards women empowerment can be ensured.

Work will be done to prepare SC students for administrative services. For this, these students will be given free coaching. This arrangement of special coaching for the students is being done in 31 central universities across the country. 

Admission to free coaching will be on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the university. Anand Kumar, a well-known educator of the country and the founder of Super 30 education group, has also given his positive views on this coaching scheme.

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment of the Central Government is establishing Dr. Ambedkar Centers of Excellence across the country through Dr. Ambedkar Pratishthan. In these, SC students will be given free coaching for administrative services examinations.

Program Coordinator, Central University of Haryana, Dr. Antaresh Kumar said that the main objective of this scheme is to provide best class facilities to the scheduled caste students for the preparation of UPSC and other important competitive examinations. 

He said that such centers have been opened in 31 central universities under this scheme. In which with reference to the state of Haryana, the center of Haryana Central University is included.
