Now few days are left in Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UP TET) 2021. The exam is going to be held on 23 January. The candidates must have downloaded the admit card for the same. Now the candidates must focus on the last minute preparations.
On successful completion of the examination, the candidate acquires the eligibility of teacher. In such a situation, it is important for him to know that by how many marks the candidate can get the teacher eligibility based on the category.
Here is the exam pattern
UPTET Exam will be in offline mode and total 150 questions will be asked. You will get two and a half hours to solve these questions. There is no negative marking in the exam.
One mark will be awarded for each correct answer. The exam will be held in two shifts. The first paper is required for teacher eligibility for classes 1-5. Whereas Paper-2 is necessary for teacher eligibility of class 6-8.
Know how many marks are required on the basis of category
Successfully clearing the UPTET exam does not guarantee a job. It only gives the eligibility certificate for the teacher. Hence, it is necessary to get the cut off marks to qualify. Which is decided on the basis of category.

Under this, it is necessary for the general category candidate to get 60 percent marks i.e. 90 marks, OBC and S-ST category to get 55 percent i.e. 82.5 marks. In such a situation, it is very important to keep these things in mind for the next two-three days to get these marks.

how much will be the salary
The pay scale for primary school under UP TET will be Rs 9300-35400. Whereas for secondary school the pay scale will be Rs 9300-44900.
The grade pay for primary school will be Rs 4200 and for secondary school the grade pay will be Rs 4600. Apart from this, teachers also get dearness allowance and HRA.
