Where a case of brutal beating of students by the police in Prayagraj has also come to the fore.
In view of the growing protests, the Railways has constituted a committee and has postponed the date of Phase II examination to be held on 15 February 2022 and Group D examination to be held on 23 February 2022 till its report is received.

What is the dispute
Actually in RRB NTPC exam, vacancies were released for about 35 thousand jobs on different pay-grades and applications were sought for it in 2019, due to Corona and other reasons, the exam was conducted after about two years between December 2020 to July 2021.
Went. And its results were declared on January 14. RRB NTPC exam is divided into 2-6 levels according to the pay grade.
In this, the minimum qualification for applying for some posts was kept 12th pass, while for some the minimum qualification was kept graduation.
The students argue that the Railways had claimed that 20 times the number of candidates will be qualified for the CBT-2 exam according to the rank. But the Railways did not do so.
They argue that the same candidate has been passed for four-five posts. In such a situation, injustice has been done to the unsuccessful students.
This is where the screw is stuck because technically the minimum educational qualification cannot be stopped for more than one application.
That is, if a student is a graduate, then he/she cannot be debarred for the post having 12th pass minimum qualification.
Because of this many students applied for more than one post. And when the result was declared many students got qualified for more than one post.
In such a situation, about the unsuccessful students, it seems that their chance has been lost.
However, in view of the increasing violent protests, the government has formed a committee and students will be able to send their suggestions to it by 16 February 2022 .
