Agnipath recruitment scheme news: According to the report, preparations are being made on INS Chilka for the initial and basic training of the sailors. Training will be given at IANS Chilka from November 21. Women sailors will also be trained on this warship.

There is a lot of enthusiasm among the youth about the government’s new recruitment scheme ‘Agnipath’ in the army. If the youth in the three armies want to become ‘Agniveer’, then women are also not behind in this. Since the inception of the scheme, the Navy has received applications from about 10,000 women. 

The special thing is that for the first time in the Navy, women are going to be recruited as sailors. Not only this, keeping in mind the operational requirements, these women soldiers will also be deployed on warships.

According to the news agency ANI, till Sunday 

the officials said that till Sunday, about 10 thousand female candidates have applied. After the registration is done, the Navy will start the online process of applications for the recruitment process from July 15 to July 30. 

In the year 2022, about 3000 women Agniveers are to be recruited in the Navy. However, nothing has been said about the number of women Agniveers this year. 

Preparations in full swing at INS Chilka

According to reports, preparations are being made on INS Chilka forinitial and basic training of sailors. Training will be given at IANS Chilka from November 21. Women sailors will also be trained on this warship. Navy officials had said, ‘There will be no discrimination against anyone in the Agneepath scheme in the Navy. 

At present, 30 women officers are stationed on the frontline warships. We have decided that now women will be recruited in all the wings of the Navy along with the sailors and they will be sent on the expedition.

This year, 46 thousand Agniveers will be recruited in the three armies,

the government has said that it will recruit 46,000 Agniveers in the three services this year. Under the Agneepath scheme, the youth will get a chance to serve in the three services for four years. 

After four years of service, 25 percent of the Agniveers will be made permanent in the army while the remaining jawans can continue their studies if they wish. 

They will be given preference in the recruitment of Central and State Government Departments and Undertakings.
