Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has once again changed the date of 67th Combined Prelims Exam. Information in this regard has been given on bpsc.bih.nic.in.
As per the notice, the pre-scheduled date for the Preliminary Examination has been revised to 30 April 2022.
The Preliminary Examination will now be held on 7 May 2022 instead of 30 April 2022.
This time more than 6 lakh applications have been received for the preliminary examination.
BPSC Prelims will consist of one objective

paper of General Studies consisting of 150 multiple choice questions. Candidates will be given 2 hours. There is no provision of negative marking in the preliminary exam.
BPSC has recently increased the number of vacancies to 802 for the 67th Combined Preliminary Examination. Earlier the number of vacancies was 798. This time the number of vacancies has increased by four posts.
These posts have been increased under the Probation Officer (Bihar Probation Service) Home Department (Cara).
A total of 602221 candidates have applied for the prelims exam out of which the number of female candidates is 182545. This time more than 30 percent female candidates have filled the form for the preliminary exam.
Talking about the selection process for these posts, the final selection is done on the basis of preliminary examination, main examination and interview.
Merit list is prepared on the basis of total marks obtained in main exam and interview. It is necessary to clear the preliminary exam to appear in the main exam.
