It was conducted from March to April Board Exams
Maharashtra HSC and SSC exams were held from 15th March to 4th April. This year MSBSHSE conducted the offline examination for class 10th students after two years.
Unlike previous years, this year both the paper timing and evaluation criteria have been changed. In Mumbai alone, for the academic year 2021-22, around 3,73,740 students have appeared for the SSC board exams. A total of 14,49,664 students appeared in the examination.
Last year recorded the best result
Every year at least 20 lakh students register for Maharashtra board exams including both SSC and HSC exams. However, last year, the Maharashtra Board did not conduct the exam due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Last year the board had released the results on the basis of alternative evaluation method. Which was one of the best results ever. 99.63 per cent students who registered for the Maharashtra HSC exam had passed the board. Whereas in SSC, 95.30 percent students were successful in clearing the exam.
