CTET Exam 2021: This time CBSE may adopt the process of normalization in the preparation of exam results. For a long time there was a demand of the candidates to implement it.
CTET Exam 2021:
CTET exam is currently being organized by CBSE. The exam which started from December 16 will be conducted till January 13, 2022.
The rule of normalization may apply for the first time in the examination. By doing this the difference in difficulty level of the exam paper will be reduced.
The benefit of which will be available to the students in preparing the merit list.
What is normalization process
The notification issued by CBSE reads that in order to ensure fairness in the examination, if the difficulty level of different sets of question paper is different. So the normalization process can also be adopted.

In fact, because of the large number of candidates in an exam like CTET, it has to be conducted for several days. In such a situation, different sets of papers are made for the examination.
Many a times candidates complain that the difficulty level of the paper is not the same on all the days.
In such a situation, the day the paper becomes easy, then the candidates get a chance to get more marks on that day.
On the other hand, the day the paper becomes difficult, then the marks get less on that day. Because of this the merit list may be affected.
In view of this, the process of normalization is adopted. In such a situation, the marks of difficult and easy papers are normalized. So that there will be no difference in the merit list.

What is CTET Exam
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) exam is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to assess the eligibility of teachers for primary and upper primary classes.
Through this, one can apply for the post of teacher in central government schools like NVS/KVS on getting the eligibility of the teacher.
Preference is given to the candidates having CTET score in the recruitment process.
A person securing 60% or more marks in the examination is considered passed.
