UP Police Recruitment 2022: Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow has invited tenders from agencies for conducting recruitment examination for the posts of constable and fireman. The date has been extended for this.

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow has once again extended the last date for filling the tender for the selection of examination agency for the recruitment of more than 26 thousand constable posts in UP Police.
In such a situation, the applicants will have to wait longer. The examination agencies willing to fill the tender have been given an opportunity till March 15, 2022.
Agencies can submit their tenders between 10 am to 2 pm. Earlier the last date for submission of tenders was 22 February 2022.
Through this recruitment drive, 26210 constable and 172 firemen posts are to be recruited. The board had fixed February 22, 2022 for submission of tenders but only one company submitted the tender. In such a situation, UPPRPB has issued a new date for submission of tenders.

Under this, companies will have to submit tender keeping in mind the conditions of the new RFQ.
Earlier it was expected that the recruitment notification may be issued after 22 February 2022 because after that the examination agency company will be selected.
But according to the latest notice issued by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) on March 4, the wait for the notification and application process to start is getting longer. Now this will be possible only after March 15.
Through this recruitment, 26210 posts of constable and 172 posts of firemen are to be appointed in UP Police.
Important things for the recruitment exam
Around 20 lakh candidates are expected to appear in the UP Police Recruitment exam. The qualification of 12th pass (inter pass) will be sought for these posts.
The age of the applicant can be kept from 18 years to 22 years. Whereas candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC category will get relaxation under government rules.
UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam will be conducted in offline mode on OMR sheet.
What will be the paper pattern
Objective type questions will be asked under the recruitment exam. OMR sheet has to be filled in it.
The exam will consist of questions from General Knowledge, General Hindi, Science, Numerical, Mental Ability, Mental Aptitude/IQ and Reasoning Ability subjects.
