Let us inform that in July 2017, the adjustment of 1.37 lakh Shiksha Mitras from the post of assistant teacher was canceled on the orders of the Supreme Court.
In the year 2017-18, the Basic Education Department had taken out the recruitment of 68500 Assistant Teachers. In this, more than 48 thousand candidates were selected in two phases.
In 2019-20, the recruitment of 69 thousand assistant teachers was taken out, in which the selected candidates have been appointed in almost all the posts in two phases.
According to the information, so far 1.20 lakh assistant teachers have been selected out of 1.37 lakh. Recruitment will be done for the remaining 17 thousand posts soon.
The advertisement for the recruitment to be done through written examination will also be issued soon.
